Mary had a brother named Fred.
Mary became blind from cataracts. She was bound and robbed in her own home around October of 1968 when she was 95. She died of pneumonia the next January or February in 1969.
She is buried in Bendle Cemetery. The cemetery is small and located on the south side of Beecher Road just west of the intersection of Beecher Road and N. Seymour Road.
Mary married James S. Leary, son of David E. Leary and Lucinda Jane (Jennie) McCray, on 4 Feb 1894. (James S. Leary was born on 27 Sep 1871 in Vaughnsville, Putnam County, Ohio,76 died on 1 Aug 1932 in Flint, Michigan and was buried in Bendle Cemetery, Flushing, Michigan.)
