Guardianship of Jacob Briggs of Orange, "non-Compos," was granted to son-in-law Artemus Coller and Benjamin Dextus in Franklin Co., Mass. 11 Aug. 1820 ... Jacob Briggs was then 85 yrs of age and his wife Abigail was ae. 83 y. ... he had resided with the Coller family for about 10 yrs.

Son-in-law Artemus Collar was administrator of the estate of Jacob Briggs (Franklin Co., Mass. Adm., 3 Apr 1821). ¹⁸⁰

Jacob married Abigail. (Abigail was born in 1737.)
